I still remember the day I discovered I wanted to be a designer. I was sitting in my fourth-grade classroom, listening to someone's mom talk passionately about parking garage wayfinding. Something inside of me exploded with wonder. I decided I would change the world with design.

Visual & UX Designer – IBM Research
Jul 2017–Present
As a designer on the Emerging Technology team at IBM Research, I have the privilege of contributing vision & strategy for IBM Q, and building experiences that bring IBM's latest technologies out of the lab and into the world.

These experiences exist to educate and engage people with the capabilities of emerging technologies, such as quantum computing and AI.

Visual Design Intern – IBM
Jan 2017–Mar 2017
Lead visual & UX designer on a multidisciplinary team of interns during the 2017 Maelstromprogram. Designed enterprise software platforms, reimagined the client briefing experience for IBM Security, and pitched solutions to IBM executives. Created and pitched an interactive installation at SXSW 2017.

Visual & UX Designer – Tour Buddy Apps
Sept 2016–Jun 2017
Redesigned the Tour Buddy app-builder platform and created customized app templates for clients, including the Westin Savannah Resort & Spa and the University of Melbourne.

Visual & UX Designer – Google x SCAD
Sept 2016–Jun 2017
A collaborative 10-week project with Google to research and develop concepts for making YouTube more interactive. Lead design thinking workshops, created wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for testing, designed branded presentation materials, and was selected to present final concepts at YouTube Headquarters.
