Hey there! I'm Amanda – a designer, design educator & systems thinker.

I'm Amanda, a designer at the intersection of emerging tech & human-centered design.

About

I enjoy tackling tough problems and exploring new domains to understand how design can impact the way people experience the world around them.

I currently lead design at IBM Research, where I work closely with scientific researchers, engineering, and a small team of designers to build enterprise applications for emerging quantum and AI technologies.

I'm also the creator and lead instructor of the UI/UX program at Bethel School of Technology, an online coding/design bootcamp.

When I'm not designing you can find me hiking along the Pacific Coast, photographing my adventures with my husband Andrew, and managing a serious coffee addiction.
